Things to do in the New Year

It would be nice to try and learn a new language. I can't decide what to try. I was thinking Italian, Spanish or Norwegian, or maybe Czech. 🤔

@Lugwho I had German for many many years in school but always slacked it, so now I catch basic words and vaguely remember the word order but there's no chance I could speak it or understand extensive conversations, news, etc. It's too poor considering how many classes of it I had in my life. 🙈

@CrazyMusicLover One of the reasons I moved back to the UK was that I was embarrassed about how bad my German was.

@Lugwho I'd give it a try if I knew there was something good awaiting me there but I can't think of anything I'd have to offer to them that would give me a chance for a better life. And I guess I'd pick Austria over Germany. It seems like they are a bit more forward with bureaucratic stuff.
