The cutest thing

My 3yr old son says “cuh-cause” instead of because.

This morning : “Mommy I only want a drink right now cuh-cause I’m not hungry yet”

I love that he explains his reasoning and I just find “cuh-cause” so friggin cute.

Yesterday there was a girl of 3 or 4 yrs in the grocery store with her mom and in the beginning all the euphoric curiosity about the halloween decoration was cute, until a trash container was pushed along and she shrieked "Oh Gosh" and I thought "um sorry what?" 🤣 and while I was getting my stuff i could sometimes see that girl pushing her own shopping cart along and getting quite unhealthy food, in a manner like "that's my standard food", though when her mom allowed her to have a donut, this rule of "first buy then eat" was not familiar with her because it was the only food unpacked. That's the only flaw in the story i guess.

@deathfairy That girl seemed autonomous enough to get her own stuff while grocery shopping, but that rule of first pay then eat was still missing.

bruh, she is like 4 yrs old…what do u expect? she wouldn’t have opened that without her parents permission..? it’s the mom u should be focused on lol. and u don’t even know what their story is, maybe that girl was super hungry and that was her mothers only option..? ur not a parent, u don’t know what it’s like to have ur kid hungry in the store LOL. @scooogy

@deathfairy I've seen adults open bottles to drink from before buying them, but this is something you can still prove, unlike loose fruits.

@deathfairy I often give my kids food while we grocery shop haha… we pay for it at checkout after obviously, but I let them open stuff we are buying or eat a piece of cold cut out of bag before we get to check out if they get hangry! I think most parents do this.

some stores offer free fruit for kids so they can eat it while they shop, prob to avoid these specific cases @scooogy

same here!! my son can try something he wants before we buy it. and we will buy it. i don’t open things and put them back, or throw it out if it’s empty. just buy it.. it’s rly simple to me 😅 @WaryWitchWandering

what did she eat again? u said donut right? no way they sell donuts by weight. not paying something by weight would be the loss. so,,, i don’t understand u anymore. we have officially begun to confuse each other it seems!! @scooogy

exactly my point. ur point is to teach kids not to open/eat something in store before u buy it, right?

mine is, it’s okay to eat things in the store as long as u pay for it, as long as it’s not by weight. it’s not as bad to eat a donut (which is a fixed price no matter what) than if she were eating a bag of grapes (which is priced by weight) u know? @scooogy

@deathfairy might be an idea to build those tables with fruits high enough for kids to be "grown up" enough to get that rule before being able to reach there. 🤔

i see where ur coming from. but that’s rly the least of our problems 😅 stores are robbing ppl blind with their prices rn. not saying ppl should be stealing food. her mother is in full control of her, who gave her permission to eat that donut in the first place, which isn’t our business. i do understand u, u just never know what the story was. i only know ur side..

u know what’s rly cool tho ? YOU can have ur own kids and teach them literally WHATEVER u want. @scooogy
