Will Cash be soon a thing of the past?

I hope not.
Otherwise, how do we cope when hurricanes, earthquakes and other natural disasters take out the substations and powerlines?
WIth no electricity, the whole economic system crashes and no one can get their most basic necessities.
It's worth using cash regularly just to ensure that trade can keep going in emergencies.
