Are you into the Royal coronation?

I don't get it, the whole monarchy thing. They are just highly paid symbols with no real power.

I didn't realize the importance of their role until I saw a tv series about the Norwegian Princess during the world war. When Norway was all in crumbles cause of German air force, forcing the royals to escape and hide in US. The citizen of Norway was just waiting for the King to return. And when he did it brought so much hope for a new Norway.
