I was summoned?

I have rolling veins. When I was a young man I needed an IV. The young nurse couldn't get the needle into the vein nor could the doctor. An elderly nun in full habit came into the room grabbed the needle out of the doctors hands and in one jab had the needle in place. If I wasn't in so much pain at the time I would have laughed.

Like any skill, experience only comes from doing it. Intended to go to paramedic school back in early 2000s so that's as far as I got lol. You'll get there. Some people will be easy sticks, others not so much.

Hey that’s part of what I went to school for!
Anchoring the vein is super important
It’s the thing I would naturally forget the most but you need to do it
How are you liking it?

The sad thing is that it usually doesn't make the fleas more docile...

Take your time. Try to relax. Remember the steps. With practise, you improve.

Good for you. I have only done it a few times and it was a long time ago.
