You gotta use it though or it will fade. I studied german for 9 years and forgot almost everything

@SW-User I lost most of the French I learned in Toronto. This is different because once I go back to teaching, my students will most likely be 100% Spanish speakers. Or if I get a job in the health field, Spanish will be a plus. At this point, I know more Spanish than French.

@marsbar maybe let the students teach you while you’re teaching them. Connecting with them might work wonders anyway
marsbar · F
@SW-User They’ve taught me a lot over the years, but I need to keep my focus on teaching them English. That’s if I end up teaching again. 😕

SW-User
@marsbar which career is more inviting to you? Teaching or nursing?
marsbar · F
@SW-User Who said anything about nursing? 😂
I’ve been teaching since 1998, so teaching will be my first passion.

marsbar · F

@marsbar i had a fling with my ESL teacher back in 2001. She kept talking about her brittish boyfriend. She hit me on the back of my head once for laughing at other ESL students 😐 i was like..welcome to Canada i guess😂

@SW-User Such a Casanova you are. Lol

SW-User
