To not trust someone because they can set you up. My older sister went out to the chicken house to gather the eggs, we sold eggs and bought groceries that we didn’t raise on the farm....spices, cooking oil, coffee, sugar, bananas, etc. She threw one of the eggs up against the smokehouse and busted it. It was so much fun that she threw another, eventually threw every single one of them probably 4 or 5 dozen. Then she came to the yard, waited till I woke up from my afternoon nap & walked out into the yard. Asked me to hold the wire egg basket till she came back outside. So I did. Within 2 minutes she comes back pointing at me with my aunt who yelled at me “Why did you break all the eggs?” I tried to tell her I didn’t but got my butt whooped & scolded & sent back to bed for the rest of the afternoon. I was 3 years old & learned not to trust someone who had ever set me up.
