I Like Learning New Things

Up until the 1940’s Jazz and swing were very much the popular music. Jazz and dance clubs were every where and loved by most. Once hardbop (a new style of jazz) came about, it was far more complex than jazz in the past. It was difficult to listen to and impossible to dance to, which is why rock and roll started to become more popular in the mid 40’s and jazz began to become a genre on the back burner of popularity, still even today 🤓 @danix
