I Like Learning New Things

Learning new things keeps me connected. I teach and sometimes I forget how it feels to not know something. How can I get my thoughts across if I don't know how my students are feeling? Well, I decided about three years ago to learn something new every year. I have tried learning to cook, learning to ice skate, learning to write a short story. In each case I started out at the bottom of the class. I still can't skate or write very well, but at least I learned how to cook🙂
