In the ultra liberal new age court system, is it possible to sue an inmate for child support? Asking for a friend.

It's ultra liberal to expect a deadbeat to pay support?
@Starcrossed well she received child support, but when she went to prison for multiple felonies, related to drug use and welfare fraud, why shouldn't my friend get the same help she was receiving?

@checkoutanytime she should be paying support if she is a non-custodial parent. But what do I know, I'm liberal and new age.
@Starcrossed when does the state recognize this inconvenient truth?
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
@checkoutanytime well, he's gotta file for the support to be garnished just like every other custodial parent owed back support.
@Starcrossed why? The IRS does nothing?
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
@checkoutanytime the IRS would only be garnishment from their tax refunds. I believe their state would be who garnishes wages.

This isn't your child or your money; this really isn't your issue to involve yourself in- it is your friend's issue.
@Starcrossed I have seen the way my friend is treated. As a third class citizen, as if he had an inkling that his childs mother would be such a scandalous deviatent that spoke no truths from her words.
