I have questions for religions. I am curious about different beliefs. So I won't limit it to just one.

I'll try to ask these as respectfully as possible. Everyone is entitled to say as they please. I want to see the insight of other eyes and minds. Even if it's opposite of another. No hositlity here. I do not ask it to put others down. I simply wonder what the thoughts are for specific things and what the reasoning is for some of it as well.

Do you believe Hell is a literal place, or is it a representation of your body remaining in the land without any chance of your soul rising wnd joining the presence of others?

Do believe heaven is a literal place? What does your religion describe heaven as? Do they all match up to be the same?

If god is always watching, how come he does help before people pray? Why let people loose faith if it all matters so much and there's a chance theymight not regain it again..?

Do you think god can be seen aside from "the life in the trees", " hearts of the people" or the "Yes, Virgina" movie way?

What is the acutal difference between cult and religion?

I know more will come to me eventrually.

Do you concider your religion closed minded, or open minded. I am hinestly asking that. I do not mean it in a condensendingnway. Do you think all religions are open minded from their own perspective. Do you think any of them acknowledge needless limitations? Would you say it's fine for anyone as long as their personality mimics a description in paper?

Why is muslim religion treated like a race? Why is it treated like westernization knows nothing of jt while plenty of muslims live in the westernized world along with other parts of the world, just like catholics, christains, and so on?

Do all religions have a prefered diet guide to represent purity, or is it dropped within mordern times for most of them (minus halal of coarse, because that is obviously an ongoing thing)?

I could add several more! If god exists why does he/she/it allow innocent children to be born with incurable and agonising medical conditions? Catholics believe that it's imposslble for souls who have not been baptised to go to heaven. How could that be just?. If this concept exists why did it create us - to worship it? That might have passed muster in days of all-powerful emperors.

Those are deep and I wonder what lession or purpose is believed with that. I wonder if some are less intense and more mordern with the water, and I wonder if they are used as an example. Which brings back the question of "why?". When it came to the ten commandments. They seemed to be like an angry father figure rather than an actual teacher. I am not athiest, but one time someone said that religion was a way for humans to explain their origins before science became more skilled. Some parts can be real, but in a different sense and not every single thing that can happen nessisarily had to happen just because of a wrath towards humanity. Like red waters. I find that all so fasinating though.

I randomly wonder what blood type the water became. Was it O since it's the most nuetral to all? Or would it be all blood types combined. There is no way to know, but it's just a curiosity I have.

If I had to name one belief that I do have it would be tolerance. Which to me seems to rule out all religions, since if one believes something to be absolutely right it's difficult to tolerate something that one believes is absolutely wrong, and not be a hypocrite. I don't think there's such a thing as absolutes. Society makes rules for its own good perhaps even continuation, but to claim some kind of higher moral authority is a step too far. How many people have killed and been killed believing god is on their side?. On a slightly different tack, I've seen so many examples of how power corrupts, and in a place like my own country Ireland, religion equals power. I used to describe myself as an agnostic who found atheism a temptation, but I don't know if that is strong enough.

I am broguht up catholic, but for quite a while ai have been agnostic and that is really good insight to share. Prapaganda does so much to society and at times it has tied onto religion perfectly and unforchanately. It's creepy when it it comes to what it is able to get people to do using one positive verse, or one negative one.

@SabrinaKinkle Same here. In my teens I wondered more and more about how things I couldn't see as sinful were condemned as mortal sins.I once made an appointment with the local bishop's secretary to discuss my increasing doubts. All he could say in the end was "Pray for faith". To me that was advocating self-indoctrination. Which is not that far removed from Isis! In the Middle Ages a Pope (possibly by the name of Innocent- not sure of that) promised a Plenary Indulgence to every Christian who killed a Muslim. How could that possibly be justified from a so called infallible leader. Also their treatment of women down the centuries is unbelievable. Apparently the only reason they made suicide a sin was that too many believers were taking a shortcut. They didn't have bombs to strap onto their bodies in those days. As a Catholic I was encouraged to brood on the suffering of Jesus - all down to my sins (at the age of nine! ) of course. To me it's deeply sick.

That is how I felt. Espeacially the sins thing. Pay for what twonother people did yesrs ago and pay for what some guy I do not know decided to do even though I am just a kid and he has not paricular shown direct love. It is just hear say of people saying he does love you. Like an Ex or relative who isn't there for you in actual moments, but if you happen to pull through, or someone else does soemthing grand then the invisable people, or already passed away nice guy gets the credit. It became bothersome and condeluded as the years went on. I remeber being on and off with faith despite teachings throughout grade school and up.
