@NearMiss: it's a metaphor of carrots. Rabbits eat carrots. If rabbits do not eat carrots their vision will go bad and need glasses. I guess he wants say increase your knowledge and imagination through learning... If you limit your knowledge you would go to the backward and use sharia law😉
