They had agriculture in high school?
ShortHair · 36-40
@crabbyhermit: Yes. I was even on the agri-knowledge team.

What year did you graduate?
ShortHair · 36-40
@crabbyhermit: 2007
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
Well dam I graduated 2006 we didn't have an ag department. If they did my career would like have been sealed in high school. Fml

@crabbyhermit: I would like to be a farmer.
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
Me too. I missed my calling, by 10 years, but I'm heading that direction now. Might not happen in the long run though
ShortHair · 36-40
@crabbyhermit: That's good. It's never too late.

@ShortHair: what kind farming do you want to do?
ShortHair · 36-40
@crabbyhermit: Most of the people in my neighborhood are cattle farmers. I'd have some cattle, sheep, and pigs. I'd also grow some crops. Shrimp farming also interests me. I saw some of that farther south a few years ago.

Very cool! I'm starting with chickens 🐔
ShortHair · 36-40
@crabbyhermit: My neighbor has chickens. They're his pets.
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
They're very entertaining to have, but everybody wants to just eat them, myself included from time to time.
ShortHair · 36-40
@crabbyhermit: Yes, it's pretty good to eat. I raised turkeys when I was younger. They were pets.
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
Did you utilize them to grow food or was it just intrinsic value of having turkeys
ShortHair · 36-40
@crabbyhermit: I just wanted some turkeys.
Socialclutz · 36-40, M
I don't blame you
