It's pretty disgusting when a society destroys historical statues because they are offended. Oh my gawd. Is it so awful to have a pair of testicles?

When did it become cool to be spineless wimps? I am so disgusted by these sickening pansies and cupcakes that go to such lengths to prevent being offended, and spend most of their spare time thinking up more reasons to be offended. I hope I can offend every one of them as much as possible before I die.

@KaliKali: Jefferson Davis, James Z George, Wade Hampton, Robert E Lee, Edmund Kirby Smith, Alexander H Stevens, Zebulon Vance, Joseph Wheeler etc etc etc, were great men of strong moral character, who were part of a system that was accepted as the norm at the time. Shall we erase George Washington and Thomas Jefferson while we're at it? These great men were not butchers like Hussein. This is nothing but pettiness and hypocrisy, but I've come to expect that from the new fascist McCarthyites that make their disgusting pretenses of social enlightenment.

@puck61: Which part of your question doesn't equally apply to the video I posted?
@KaliKali: A country tearing down a statue of a butchering dog, whose forces had recently been overthrown is not the same as a country tearing down statues of people who simply were part of the status quo, and were heroes and men of renown in a historically significant war. Slavery was a bad thing but 'slavers' and slave owners were just opportunists, and warriors are just warriors. The tribesman and Muslims that the slavers bought the slaves from deserve as much 'discredit' as anyone. Slavery has only very recently been rejected by society on any significant scale, and is still relatively accepted in other parts of the world. Prior to the 'renaissance of abolition' as it were, slavery was perfectly acceptable for thousands upon thousands of years. If it's some mark of shame, then no one is shameless! It's just history. That's all it is.

@puck61: I didn't say it was the same thing. I said the argument you made could be applied to the situation in the video.
@KaliKali: Of course! I would expect no less of you! You lunge and parry with the best of them!
