Why is it called Greenland?

Here's the actual reason; Erik the Red, the Norwegian who discovered it, wanted it to seem like a nice settlement. Therefore, he named it Greenland to make it seem desirable for settlers!

Cause America hasn't invaded it for oil yet

They toke mad trees there.

90% of the worlds pot is grown there

The natives all have green eyes.

Because of it's purple mountain majesty :p

Because the rain is orange there

Because it's actually pink

Because it's green.

The land is green duh!
