A scientific Theory has to account for the available evidence consistently, completely, and coherently.
There is a tsunami of evidence for life on Earth having evolved via a process of common descent... gradual change over time.
The Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection (nowadays known as the Modern Evolutionary Synthesis) accounts for that evidence consistently, completely, and coherently. Further, the Theory identifies natural Selection as the engine that drives the observed change.

Like any scientific Theory, it can be accepted until (and only until) a better Theory is developed. It's not a question of belief... it's a question of acceptance. The Theory is able to be falsified (that would be easy to accomplish), at which point the Theory would be replaced by... a better Theory.

Every day, thousands of scientists try to falsify the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection. So far, they have been unable to do so. Tomorrow, they'll try again.
I expect they'll fail again, but who knows... maybe one of them will succeed, at which time we'll have a better Theory (and that person will have a Nobel Prize).

For anyone who does not accept the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection, there is a simple question... Can you falsify the Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection?

No one has to believe it anymore than they have to believe the Earth rotates around the Sun. Evolution is real.
