What do you think could be the reason behind the delay in getting an app for this site?

I think the one main thing that bothers me is that u either have to get an email regarding a notification (which I stopped because then I have to read all my email which is spam) or u have to come on the site to look and see if you have any. So I'm looking forward to the app for sure!
