Do you think your education is just your own performance?

Imagine you are born in very poor conditions in a very poor country. would you individually be to blame for a lack of knowledge? And please don't tell me bullshit about "selfmade men" "American dream" and "pursuit of happiness" i don't believe in fairy tales.

I want to say education is a mix of opportunity and desire.
What do you mean 'imagine'? I was born in very poor conditions and I still am in very poor conditions, not to mention I completed my Bachelor's degree all on my own, without anyone's help, in poor conditions.
It has been the hardest fight of my life.

If you are extremely poor, you barely have (or not) money to pay for a library. You can educate yourself from a public library only so much, so the blame would really be on the system, being poor as it is. The blame would be on poor government to properly distribute sources and find enough sources to prosper.

@saintpierre: but that's exactly what I did mean. for example I, I am a loser. is that a felony? do I deserve death because I am weak? I will never adopt an idea that would make me question my own right to exist, got it? I question a society based on "survival of the fittest"

When most of life is Mundane – 99% mundane (work/clean/house/family/food/sleep/walk/co-workers)

Then each day my PERFORMANCE is being with the mundane. I don’t have to chase material wealth – one bed is enough, one plate of food is enough.

My daily PERFORMANCE is to be with it all as it is or is not. Not to rob me of my being other than “TO BE”

So how you live your life is yours – how you educate is yours

I will judge my own PERFORMANCE …..

And let you judge your OWN PERFORMANCE

Quote for you:
No one is free who has not obtained the empire of himself. No man is free who cannot command himself.”

No, but at the same time you can't blame your shortcomings on an excuse either. Most people are disadvantaged in one way or another.
