Stupid speculation. There is something in some people that makes them want evil, destruction, killing of people Ok'ed, an outlet for their anger, perhaps. A return to barbarism.

Perhaps I'm a bit sensitive about this, but I've heard similar from people who really worship people like Hitler.

This species is facing extinction due to its self destructive urges, which is insanity, of course, but the species certainly features that quality a lot.

Plus self delusion, denial systems, etc.
