I was just contemplating my Linux Mint 18.1 system this very moment. I friggin' love it!! So far, it is so much better than windows. Movies are crystal clear, and everything is nice and fast. I couldn't get my windows OS to work this far from the wi-fi station. I am definitely a fan of the newest Linux Mint.

@Smtwn829: I ended up using it after my hard drive crashed, on a usb drive, just to help figure out if everything else was OK. So glad I had an old live boot linux on disc. I used that to find a newer version and have no complaints. My PC can still do five things at once and it no longer runs hot.

@Megamind69: That's the one thing I will probably never use my PC for, so I find it works quite well. Unless you count solitaire.
