Whats the deal with valentines day ?

we dont have that in my home country... is it like a national orgy or what ?

Just another highly-commercialized holiday that is making big profits for corporations that promote it. It was just basically a children's holiday when I was growing up, a mother would bring cupcakes to the class for a party and students would exchange Valentine's and maybe pieces of candies.
