Why should men leave the toilet seat down?

because they're often the ones who raise it (so you know...put things back the way you found them)

so no one falls into the bowl when they ramble bleery-eyed into a dark bathroom and don't see that the seat is up

so their partner who may be heavily pregnant (or left with some 'side-effects' that pregnancy can leave) has to pee NOW!!! and that 3 seconds to put the seat down makes all the difference :-/

Because if I don't my cat ignores her water dish and drinks out of the toilet instead. For reals >_<

So that dogs don't drink from the bowl if they get into the bathroom?

Seriously though do people really sit on things without looking at them first?

I've never understood this one, either !
I mean if there's only you and a partner. If you use it last, why wouldn't you leave it in position for your partner if it's likely they'll use it next ?

Yeah i like to put it back down when I'm finished.

Apparently rats are supposed to climb up the u-bend. Im not convinced. I always leave my toilet seat up to test it though...

Never mind the seat I like to see the lid down too! Open pee pots aren`t pretty. :p

Because a wet and cold butt at 3am is not cool!
