Do handcuffs hurt?

no i'm not planning on getting arrested just curious.

Yes, when I asked about it I was told that if they are on correctly they are tight and uncomfortable but are only supposed to be temporarily. Once the soft unbreakable leather restraints go on they can come right off so it is not that relevant.

When I was being taught how to put handcuffs on they told us to always but our index finger between the cuff and the persons wrist so that they would be tight enough but not to tight.

there was something about if they are too loose they can cause damage if the wrist twists around in it
