How I learned to type faster.

Touch typing.Knowing where everything is without looking.I learned where the home keys were to begin with and built on that.Practice is the key.I typed for up to 30 minutes a day. It's enough.I learned to look at the screen and never look at the keyboard.
Hand positioning.Over the keys with curled fingers.Learning how to use all 8 fingers and both thumbs.Having long fingers is a huge advantage for me. When I press one key down fully I already have the next key halfway pressed.
To begin with my typing slowed down then as everything became natural my typing speeded up.Before I decided to improve I typed at 70 words a minute. As I got better I went past 80 wpm, past 90 wpm then 100wpm.Now I tested at 110 wpm with no mistakes and will get faster.

Thanks to modern computers, laptops and AI, typing is becoming a lost art.
