My mother was a teacher. She taught me and my siblings how to read before we began kindergarten, because we wanted to learn and she figured it would be an advantage. But that was the only way in which we were homeschooled.
@bijouxbroussard Homeschooled? Not exactly. My mom was not a professional teacher, but she taught me to read and do basic math well enough that I didn’t have to attend kindergarten.
