My kid is homeschooling

My son turns 10 in a week and has requested to do his schoolwork from home starting in January. Its not a big deal his work is already independently done cause the way the older grades are done at our school but hes growing up so fast. If it doesnt work out next fall he can return to the school because the way the spots go. Kids of church members get priority over non church members
