The average cost of tuition in the US is about 10k per year.

In states like California, New Mexico, and Florida, in-state tuition is closer to 6 to 7k a year. This is less than most new car prices. An education is something nobody will be able to take from you, a degree cannot get repossessed by the bank, and doesn’t depreciate over time. It’s a no brainer.

Where I am from, we have a lottery and the proceeds pay 100% of tuition to public colleges in the State if you maintain a 3.5 gpa or higher and for others if you maintain a B average it pays about 90% of tuition.
@HiYou12 Yes! There are a ton of states now that offer free in state tuition for higher GPA’s coming out of high school. Here we have programs like AICE that offer free college credit in high school and free or heavily discounted tuition after high school.
