I'm so sad and angry after what my English teacher did to me..

I'm French btw and we study English at high school. So we did a test where we had to write an essay about an experience that changed my life.
And today when he gave us back our papers, he told me that it is too sophisticated and good to be written by a high school student.
And he gave me 3/20, and it's a very important module :(
I'm so sad because I did something great and instead of being praised, I'm being yelled at...

You should speak with him. If he doesn't listen have your parents speak with him. If he still doesn't listen have your parents contact his boss

@Kimmler: no I'm saying stand up for what is right. He's falsely accusing you of plagiarizing. He has a job to give an appropriate assessment and since your tax dollar goes to his salary you have a right to ask him to do his job. Go with a good demeanor but ask why he felt it was okay to do that

@Kimmler: if the student feels it's wrong it's her right to take action. As I said above she should go with the right demeanor - that means it may turn out the assessment was right

@Kimmler: How can you think telling a student that they can't have their mark because their writing style is too good compared to the others is something good ?

@Kimmler: It's our first test with him.
But one of the other students was praised for writing something really good, he even told him he should move in a English speaking country.
Why didn't he say the same to me ? Why was his good enough but mine too good for a high school student ?
