Gahhhhh I wish ChatGPT was around when I was in school

Obviously it would have made it very easy for students to cheat, but even if I were to never use it in a way that could reasonably be deemed cheating, it could have changed everything, having something that could help me understand and study and research any subject in any way I needed.
Breaking down math problems into however small steps I needed with explanations tailored to my learning style, dumbing down complex or confusing passages in a text book, quizzing me on my understanding of the subject and identifying the areas I need to work on and giving suggestions how, locating citable sources that have exactly the information I need that I wouldn’t have otherwise found, giving me ideas of what themes I can explore in an essay, making me a homework/study schedule that’s to my comfort level and accounts for my neurodivergent needs… I might have actually finished college… for better or worse, AI is going to change a lot, especially in terms of education.

It requires talent to ask AI a question and the education system now start to encourage self-learnig. The current pedagogy is tutor dependent, hence not suitable for AI. But the new generation of education system can be entirely different.
No syllabus required, no books required as continuous assessment of students is easier as they get assessed on the move

It's going to be drastic but the oldies won't let go easily as they would be jobless. In fact most senior teachers professors are outdated and struggling to keep pace with evolution.
