You're not a millionaire but you're donating money on GoFundMe to help rebuild millionaire's homes...

I think they are all going to be living in a government trailer for the next twenty years.

Jokes on you... I don't get money to donate to anyone on Gofundme.

That aside, just because the biggest talking point was the celebrities who lost their homes, it doesn't mean that the fires stopped and asked "Are you a celebrity???" before consuming people's homes.

Given the scope of the fires, places other than LA were affected, too... so maybe think a bit before making posts like this.

@HootyTheNightOwl Well, I'm not sure how GoFundMe works but what I'm talking about are the GoFundme accounts that are directly set up for the celebrities.. Yes, those accounts exists already and people are donating to them.

Of course, there were some Middle Class people affected. I'm not talking about them.
@Jokersswild That doesn't mean that the celebrities will benefit from them - it's just as possible that any monies could be donated to charities or disaster relief efforts in the areas affected.

It's not uncommon for people to name drop if they think it might attract more attention or get more support for a cause/crime.

This isn't going to be a simple case of bunging a few houses up and the disaster is over, it's effects are going to be felt for years or even decades after the fires are out.

People need to be buried, children need therapy, trees need replanting, animals need conserving, something needs to be done so that these people can feel safe in their homes if they do decide to go back and rebuild, if they don't want to go back where do they go, where are they staying now - not everyone would fit into evacuation centres and hotel rooms will be sky high... it all costs money, a lot of money.

IKR? Its like living in a single wide house trailer and defending tax breaks for billionaires.
