Things are going well.

Now that I passed my exam, I'm going to get a raise at work, about $100 a month after taxes. If I work hard, I'm within a year of becoming an associate, at which point I'll get a huge boost in pay and my career opportunities will expand like crazy. With that out of the way, I can direct my attention towards social engagements and just like... living my life, man. My rent is gonna go down when I move, so I can put that money towards saving for my next car. I'm going to be really happy. ♥️

Glad to hear things are going well for you.

Make sure you put away in your 401k up to the maximum company match. Otherwise start saving up to buy your own place so youre not paying someone elses mortgage.

@SW-User I'm mostly in my Roth IRA rn, and I'm only putting a way a few hundred bucks a month. It's not a lot, but with compounding interest, even the meagar sum I have now will become a small fortune. Buying a house probably isn't going to be economical to me moving forward (I have a tendency to move around), but idk, I can start saving later if I change my mind.
