Yes! Middle school writing teacher was an old hippy with her flowy, long skirts and hair. She was kind and she gave me a book at my 8th grade graduation called "Living, Loving, and Learning". I found comfort in that book and her compassion towards me, as I navigated an abusive childhood and foster care.
