Besides English and Spanish, what's the next most useful language to know in the US?

I'm just brainstorming my future plans. Right now, I'm taking Duolingo Spanish lessons to brush up on my Spanish, but I think I wanna learn something else after that.

It makes no difference. The US is so multicultural that any language you choose will be useful, especially if you want to be an interpreter, in any capacity.

That's a god point. And I'm not trying to be a professional interpreter. I just think it'll be useful so I can speak to more people and gain more professional connections or talk to more customers if need be.
