Anybody know some good sites to take online courses?

I tried Lynda Learning and I did not like how it was laid out. the site makes you watch thousands of videos for each section and then make you take a quiz follow by a test ast the end of the sections and quizzes and that to me is a recipe of forgetting everything and does not learning shit.

I wanted to try coursera but I heard a lot of funny stories on that one as well.

so anyone know anything better?
