Taliban bans Afghan women from attending university

Starting immediately no women in Afghanistan will be able to attend University. They have already been limited by what subjects they can study at University and who can teach those subjects.
This new rule will be enforced by the Taliban who fear the power that educated women have.

@MasterLee Actually you should be thanking the Taliban. It’s nothing to do with the US. If the Taliban got out of Afghanistan and let the Afghan government be in charge then the US and the rest of the world would resume humanitarian aid packages to Afghanistan.

The Taliban overran the Afghan govt (which basically refused to stand up for itself)

@MasterLee Not at all. But after 20 years of military training I would expect the Afghan army to stand up to the Taliban.

Yes, the US will provide humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, provided the Taliban hand’s leadership back to the Afghan people and vacates Afghanistan. Until that happens the Taliban is not getting any help from anyone except maybe Russia.
