Can someone please explain why this is a thing

Can someone please explain why drag (men dressing as women for art preforming) is a thing FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN??? To the point where the teachers union held a full seminar on the subject...
I understand it as a preforming art with the singing and dancing and whatever for adult entertainment fine. But children? What next Kinky Kelly is going to put on a donky show at your local middle school?

I'm more amazed that you went from "men dressing as women for art preforming" to "kinky kelly". It's almost as if a man dressing up like a woman, is automatically a sexual thing. Which is not. But I guess in some peoples brains, it is. Says more about those people then about the drag queens.

@Kwek00 Most women in Western countries wear clothes which were traditionally menswear, and that's not a sexual thing either. I don't "crossdress" when I wear a pair of bluejeans.
