I love being a teacher … but…

It’s not even lunch yet and I had
- 1 student insisting I tell his crush that he has a crush
- 1 question about how to oxygenate a planet
-1 insistence that if we bring back mammoths that they have to be put on another planet
-1 having to cover the clock because a kid insisted everything would take forever and crying

No parents coming in to insist you change their child's grade? No kid telling you he doesn't have to do the work or listen to you because he/she is "classified"? No administrator coming in with 50 pages of redundant paperwork for you to fill out? Not computer assigning you TWO separate ID numbers so you can be given two separate classes from different grades to teach at the same time? You must work in a great district. LOL

@ChipmunkErnie I teach special education- so all my kiddos are classified
They do everything assigned to them though .

@antisocialbutterfly My wife taught art classes, so she taught every child and often the Admin would dump "trouble" kids in her classes when they didn't know where else to put them.
