Are we going to end 2022 in the same pathetic manner?
We are ending 2021 for now, but we could still take a peek a year in the future. At that point, will we be better, or will we just carry on the same vicious cycle? Don't you have a deja-vu feeling? And yet we call ourselves civilized and evolved?!?
Wait, wait, what do I mean by "pathetic"? Well, let's just look around us, at our marvelous society:
What numbers are increasing? The graduates, the impoverished, the killed or maimed (both physically and mentally) by easily preventable diseases, the promises of a better future if you just vote for another X politician, trust in another Y company etc.
What numbers are decreasing? The genuine hopes for the better, the number of quality moments and relationships, the people who actually digest the information they make pigs of themselves with (much readee, no thinkee), your income in general etc.
What is there to do? Simple, let's take our lives back from those who decide, with our incompletely informed consent, to make us their pets! Join the revolution!
