I’m Reaching For The Absolute Best

I have a great update! So, I’ve been attending nursing school & so far, I’ve been doing extremely well in all my classes. I recently passed my Medical Terminology final with flying colors of an 18/20! I’m super proud of myself. The truth is that I didn’t grow up in a stable or healthy environment and went through some very traumatic things that screwed me up bad. When I finally got rescued, clean & sober; I started my education and after a few months, I discovered that I had a gift. That gift was working my ass off both accidentally and job wise. Despite my efforts, I still was treated like an Ex Con because of my upbringing and stereotypes. Despite being told that “people like me” can’t achieve anything that others can, I amped up my game to a thousand! Sure enough, I graduated high school with a regents diploma and a CDoz to work at the top of my class. As I was writing an essay, I realized how far I really came! Medical school is something I thought I could never, ever be able to achieve, yet here I am, Acing my classes and working towards an Associate’s degree! I’m just really proud of myself for all I’ve managed to you and YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF YOURSELF TOO! Sorry this was so long, just had to express my pride.
