Nursing School, Here I Come!

I have very exciting news to share! So, I found that my passion was not only artwork but, it was helping people & making a difference in their lives. Although I lost my job at a nursing home due to Covid, it took a while to get back on my feet after graduating from a rehab/school program. I am very happy to say that I found something great for myself.

I had started looking into nursing jobs after graduation/release of the school/rehab program. Be it an aid, assistant, etc, I’m not picky. I knew that due to my background it would be harder for me to find something. After months of research, I finally got in touch with St.Paul’s School Of Nursing. The staff were so nice & friendly over the phone & gave me a warm welcome. I took an entree test & passed with flying colors, had another meeting about when I would begin my education which is on November 8th & will soon meet with a financial aid/advisor about tuition.

Now, I do not want to jinx anything but, things are looking really up! I’m super excited because I never really thought I would be able to do this due to my past & how people have & may have judged me based on just my past. This place, so far is liking me for who I am & what I believe in. So far, so good. Thanks for reading!
