Do you need a degree to be educated ?

If you know how to think, act, and behave in all important areas of life then you are well educated. If not continue self-education. If some have all the degrees of the world but don't know how to take care of his mind and body, how to build and maintain good relationships with people, how to think and learn in an effective way etc then how he or she can be considered as educated? Having degrees only means you know about a particular topic well, or have skills on it but what about important areas of life where you need a lot of knowledge to be successful? that is why we see many people that claim themselves to be educated can't maintain a single important area of life although they have degrees.
