Not so much anymore.
The quality of education has faltered a great deal in the last few decades, IMO.
Regurgitating was the instructor wants you to say doesn't signify that anything has actually been learned.
I know lot's of people with big degrees that lack the common sense of a tomato. And, I also know great people with out a degree that are successful and happy by any measure.
