How long has mankind been civilised would you say?

Savage is pretty fluidly subjective in my opinion. From the perspective of my Western history class:
The British colonized central and southern Africans and made them "civilized"

Then the Europeans came here to my country, the U.S., and killed the red skinned "savages" to start a new "civilized" country 🤔

Japan became "civilized" after the war and disarm

The only places not yet formally "civilized" are the middle East, Antarctica, and Northern/Eastern Africa

Arguably, if you ask the African people who were getting colonized, they were civilized before and the invaders were uncivilized. Same with the Native Americans 🤷🏾‍♂️

In a 3rd person scope of the scene, we have always been and will always compete over resources and competition is often attempted to be smoothed out with the iron of uncivil actions
