@Murmurs Yes I lived and served on a BIOT in the Indian Ocean. Didn’t see a female for 5 months there.

@Pfuzylogic it was true at the height of the empire that was true as it stretched from New Zealand through Australia, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Palestine, South Africa and others, UK, Ireland to Canada etc. So no the sun never set.

@SW-User Diego Garcia was 16 degrees south of India so in 1980 that part of the globe was still true.
