We don't hyperlink the URLs/website addresses except if they are links to other Similar Worlds posts.
We do this intentionally to discourage spammers trying to advertise on Similar Worlds, as their links will unlikely be followed by any of our users.
Not only that, there are many websites that can be dangerous/untrustworthy, so we want to make sure that we don't risk being a source of problems like these, especially if users share links in private messages.
Sharing a Youtube video will not be an issue in relation to the above.
