Why are some teachers so tough and blunt?

it's a tough job, but I respected teachers like that, those are quite often the ones who want you to do well

@Bushmanoz I guess teachers that are pushovers we don't respect. I had a great teacher even though she tough and blunt she eventually became my favorite teacher.

@ElizabethBabe1994 see, that's it exactly..true story, I had a teacher who grabbed me and my mate by the hair and used it to bang our heads together several times because we were being dickheads in his class, he was our favourite teacher (not because of that), he really wanted you to do better, for your own future
