In today's society and with the low moral and educational values we have, the way we're slipping; anyone who is a teacher; believing in their chosen profession and want to give students a proper education under their tutelage, then they need to be tough and blunt, otherwise come the end of the school year that teacher's student walk out of school having little to no knowledge of what they were supposed to have learned. IMO this country has gone too far PC and has and does coddle students from Pre-K to College, and it does not serve the students well. Experience mostly. Being gentle is fine for the young children, but even middle schoolers are brats these days.

@ElizabethBabe1994 see, that's it exactly..true story, I had a teacher who grabbed me and my mate by the hair and used it to bang our heads together several times because we were being dickheads in his class, he was our favourite teacher (not because of that), he really wanted you to do better, for your own future
