Why does my kitten squeak when he sleeps?

Whenever hes relaxing or sleeping, usually on my lap, he'll often squeak, grunt or what almost sounds like a whimper when I stroke his head or neck. I dont think its pain or discomfort. He has no injuries and hes usually purring while he does this. He makes the same sound when he stretches or yawns

I have a cat named squeaky. I didn't name her. But ever since she was born she would squeak instead of meow. As she got older they realised that there is a very minor deformity with her bottom teeth so her tongue is always hanging out of her mouth a little.

@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic well he does have a lazy eye. Wouldnt surprise me if there was some lowkey deformity I dont know about
@CuddleFeesh I have another, he is about 6 months old, but we're pretty sure he is a special needs kitty. I didn't even know it was possible. But it really is.

@CallmeHopelessNotRomantic I've got a friend with a cat like that. I forget the condition but it has something to do with her spine, and as such her back limbs dont work and she has to drag herself. But gets around fairly well
@CuddleFeesh mine gets around pretty good. We started to notice he wasn't like the others. He's smaller, and developmentally, he's not like the others.
