I didn't want to at first, but I decided to be the first female ever in my family to do so (older brother was the first, period). It was a challenging experience for me, but I survived.

My girls were the first in my immediate family to go to college I was only able to complete the 9th grade Back then you could get decent jobs without a diploma Every kid that has grown up in my home have diploma's (I have raised 10 kids and I only have 4 ) Several of them went to college ,,I took them to college to and fro when they graduated ,I got them a car
Had only anyone had ever helped me like that
I supported them while they were in school ,the only thing they had to pay was to make good grades Until I quit I worked a full time job and went to school and I had to walk to both ,I was to young to drive
