Need some help calculating gas for long trip. Details provided.

Trip is 2,385 miles from south Carolina to los angeles. And my car gets 31mpg. I can fill it up with $25. Been awhile since high school.

Be prepared for the gas in California to be more expensive than in south Carolina. One friend from Central Cali has told me that gas can run upwards of $4 a gallon out there.

Omg nm that.. Im going to guess 480 round trip cause my first estimate was an exaggerated guess of a one way trip.. But i wouldnt advise you to leave without having at least 600$ Because you'll have other random expenses

@Haniazed Don't forget the varying gas prices in each state. Here in California, the current petrol price is 4.2/gallon...

I spent 70+$ to fill up my tank...😑
